The Hospital is an active treatment facility operated under the direction of a twelve member Board of Directors. AMGH currently operates forty-two (42) beds providing acute, long-term, psychiatric, emergency and ambulatory care and is operating under a Accreditation with Commendation award.
Accreditation with Commendation is the second highest award that a hospital can achieve. This designation demonstrated that AMGH has exceeded the average level of performance required by a hospital according to Accreditation Canada’s standards.
